The Little Sprouts Workshop is a 90-minute, hands-on, interactive session where children start their journey to becoming lifelong stewards of our planet. The experience follows a two-part style, starting with the guided Creative Connection portion that uses art, imagination, and letters to bond with the participants’ favourite animal, touching upon what makes a healthy habitat and the importance of plants. This is followed by the Hands-on Action portion where they plant a seed in their own customizable pot while learning about the powerful life cycle of a plant, turning their creative connection into a tangible act of caring for the planet—the habitat of their favourite animal. By the end of the workshop, the participants will leave with their letter, art, and pot—a living reminder of their positive impact.

Can a single promise change the world? We believe it can. This spring, The Healing Sprout invites you to visit The Promise Tree—a living mural of community commitment. The Promise Tree invites patrons of all ages to reflect on their role in protecting our planet — one small, personal promise at a time. At the center of the installation stands a bare tree structure, ready to grow. Visitors are invited to take a leaf-shaped piece of eco-paper — vibrant, multi-coloured, filling the space with warmth and life as the installation fills — and write a personal pledge to the planet. To help visitors get started, a set of gentle prompt cards sits nearby, offering starting points like "One thing I'll do differently this season is..." or "I promise to protect..." — so that anyone, from a curious child to a first-time visitor unsure what to write, can find their way to a genuine reflection. Each pledge is hung on the tree's branches, and over the three weeks, the once-bare tree transforms — branch by branch, leaf by leaf — into a full, colourful canopy built entirely from the community's own promises. What begins as an empty structure becomes a living portrait of collective care by the time the installation closes. As a small thank-you and reminder to carry the promise forward, each visitor who adds a leaf is invited to take a custom seed packet and sticker from The Healing Sprout — a "take one, leave one" gesture that mirrors the installation's spirit: give something, take something forward. The seed becomes a way to carry the pledge home and grow it into something real. Throughout the three weeks, The Healing Sprout will document the tree's transformation and share it across social media — capturing the shift from bare branches to full bloom as a visual story of the community's collective promise to the planet.
